Technical Description

This vertical machining center features a worktable sized at 39.3" by 18.1", capable of supporting a maximum workpiece weight of 2,200 lbs, suitable for heavy-duty machining operations. The spindle is vertical with a 40 taper, delivering a standard top speed of 8,000 RPM, with an optional upgrade to 10,000 RPM, powered by a 20 HP motor rated for 30 minutes and optionally increased to 24 HP. The tool management system includes an automatic tool changer (ATC) accommodating 24 tools standard, expandable to 40 tools, achieving tool change times of 3.5 seconds and chip-to-chip times of 5.5 seconds, enhancing productivity. The machine operates on three axes (X, Y, Z) with travels of 40.2", 20", and 20" respectively. Each axis supports a maximum feed rate of 393 inches per minute and a rapid traverse rate of 787 inches per minute, enabling efficient material removal and positioning.
