1990 NAKAMURA SLANT1 CNC LATHES
Specifications & Market Value

Technical Description
The Nakamura-Tome Slant-1 (also sold as Slant-1B) is a 2-axis CNC slant-bed turning center, a discontinued model originally produced from the mid-1980s. It has a swing over bed of 23.62 in, with swing over the front door of 16.54 in and over slide covers of 21.65 in. Maximum turning diameter is 12.99 in over a maximum machining length of 14.17 in. The main spindle uses an A2-5 mount, with a 2.17 in hole through spindle and a bar capacity of 1.69 in, turning up to 4,500 rpm. The spindle is driven by a 15 hp motor wired for 220V three-phase power. Tooling is handled by a 12-station turret, and the tailstock quill has a 3.94 in stroke. Overall footprint is approximately 127 x 75 x 84 in, with a machine weight of about 6,200 lbs. Units were built with a range of Fanuc controls over the model's production run, including Fanuc 6T, 11T, and 11TE, so the control fitted to a given machine depends on its build date and configuration.
