The Nakamura-Tome TW-20 is a high-performance horizontal machining center designed for precision and efficiency in complex turning operations. Featuring twin spindles and twin turrets, this machine delivers exceptional versatility for multi-axis machining tasks. The main spindle offers a maximum turning diameter of 10.630", a turning length of 7.560", and a chuck diameter of 8.000", with a maximum swing of 10.630" and bar capacity of 2.000". Both spindles operate at up to 5,000 RPM and are powered by 20 HP motors, enabling high-speed, high-torque performance. The dual turret system supports up to 24 turning tools and 24 rotary tools per turret, allowing for extensive tooling flexibility and simultaneous cutting operations.
