The NAMSUN SPHINX-5X/30 is a simultaneous 5-axis vertical machining center designed for precision high-speed machining operations. This compact machine features a work envelope of 320mm (12.6") on the X-axis, 400mm (15.7") on the Y-axis, and 330mm (15.9") on the Z-axis, making it ideal for intricate component manufacturing. The machine is equipped with a powerful 20.1 kW main motor and delivers a maximum spindle speed of 24,000 RPM, enabling aggressive material removal and delicate finishing operations. The rotary A and C axes provide ±20° to -110° of travel, enabling complex 5-axis simultaneous machining for multi-sided workpieces without manual repositioning. The system incorporates a 24-station automatic tool changer for rapid tool indexing and improved productivity.
