The NEXTURN SA 26 Horizontal Machining Center is a high-precision CNC Swiss-type lathe engineered for complex, multi-axis machining of small to medium-sized parts. It features a main spindle with a maximum turning diameter and bar capacity of 1.000" (25.4 mm), and a maximum turning length of 8.260" (210 mm), supporting efficient production of intricate components. The main spindle delivers 10 HP at speeds up to 8,000 RPM, with precise indexing for accurate part positioning. A sub-spindle, also rated at 8,000 RPM and 3 HP, enables seamless part transfer and secondary operations. The machine is equipped with two tool carriers: the primary front slide supports up to 5 turning tools and 4 rotary tools (each with 1.5 HP and 8,000 RPM), while the secondary front face carrier accommodates 3 turning tools and 2 rotary tools, also with 1.5 HP and 8,000 RPM. The system allows for 2 simultaneous cutting tools, enhancing productivity. Standard secondary mill/drill functions are available on-center, off-center, and with both 'C' and 'Y' axes, providing versatile machining capabilities.
