Technical Description

This vertical machining center features a robust #50 taper spindle, delivering up to 25 HP (30-minute rating) and a maximum spindle speed of 4,500 RPM, with an optional upgrade to 6,000 RPM for enhanced performance. The machine is equipped with a 30-tool automatic tool changer (ATC), expandable to 60 tools, and offers an optional two-pallet changer for increased productivity. The worktable provides a travel range of 84.25" in X, 41.73" in Y, and 31.5" in Z, with optional extensions available for Y (up to 49.6") and Z (up to 35.42"). All three axes support a maximum feed rate of 394 IPM and rapid traverse speeds of 472 IPM, ensuring efficient material removal and reduced cycle times. The machine is configured for three-axis operation, with an optional fourth axis for expanded machining capabilities. No support index or rotary table is included as standard, but a rotary table can be added as an option.
