OKK VM900 VERTICAL MACHINING CENTER

This vertical machining center features a vertical spindle with a #50 taper capable of reaching a maximum speed of 8,000 RPM (optional 6,000 RPM), powered by a 35 HP motor rated for 30 minutes. It is equipped with an automatic tool changer (ATC) that can hold 40 tools, with an option to increase capacity to 60 tools. The machine supports three linear axes (X, Y, Z) with travels of 81.1", 37.01", and 32.28" respectively, each axis sustaining a maximum feed rate of 630 ipm and a rapid traverse rate of 787 ipm. The standard configuration includes 3 axes, with an optional 4-axis setup. The machine does not include a U axis. Table support options include an optional support index table and an optional rotary table. A pallet changer is available as an option for automated workpiece handling. The spindle direction is vertical, providing rigid machining capability suitable for a wide range of vertical milling operations.
