The Okuma Genos L2000-e is a compact, high-precision horizontal CNC turning center designed for efficient and versatile machining. It features a single main spindle with a maximum turning diameter of 9.06 inches and a maximum turning length of 19.69 inches, accommodating a 10-inch chuck for robust workholding. The main spindle delivers up to 20 horsepower and operates at speeds up to 5,000 RPM, ensuring powerful and accurate cutting performance. The machine is equipped with a 12-station turret, supporting up to 12 turning and 12 rotary tools, enabling flexible tooling configurations for complex operations. Standard two-axis control (X and Z) can be expanded to three axes with optional C-axis or Y-axis interpolation, enhancing multitasking capabilities. The X-axis provides 6.5 inches of travel with a rapid traverse rate of 82 inches per minute, while the Z-axis offers 9.65 inches of travel (expandable to 15.75 inches) at the same rapid traverse rate. Both axes deliver high-speed feed rates of 82 inches per minute, ensuring fast and precise movements.
