The OKUMA LB3000 EX II is a high-performance horizontal machining center engineered for precision, rigidity, and multitasking versatility. The main spindle is equipped with a 15.000" chuck diameter and a high-torque M spindle capable of speeds up to 5,000 RPM, delivering 30 HP for demanding cutting applications. The LB3000 EX II is configured with two main spindles, enabling simultaneous operations and enhanced productivity for complex workpieces. Rapid traverse rates reach 25 m/min on the X-axis and 30 m/min on the Z-axis, supporting fast tool changes and efficient cycle times. The machine supports a maximum turning diameter of 410 mm (16.14") and a maximum machining length of 500 mm (19.69"), with optional configurations extending up to 1,300 mm for longer workpieces.
