2016 OKUMA LOC 650 CNC LATHES
Specifications & Market Value

Technical Description
The Okuma LOC650 is a large two-turret CNC lathe built for oil-country work such as threading large pipe, casing and couplings. It comes in two spindle versions: B15, with a 33 in chuck, 375 mm (14.76 in) spindle through-hole and 5 to 500 rpm, and B22, with a 40 in chuck, 560 mm (22.05 in) through-hole and 5 to 350 rpm. Both use a high-torque, gear-driven spindle with a 45/37 kW (60/50 hp, 30 min/continuous) motor. Swing over the bed is 800 mm (31.5 in); maximum turning diameter is 650 mm (25.59 in) with one turret in use and 500 mm (19.69 in) with two, and maximum work length is 1,750 mm (68.9 in). The upper V12 turret holds 12 tools and the lower V8 turret 8 tools, with 38.1 mm (1.5 in) shanks, allowing 4-axis simultaneous cutting with two tools. Upper turret travel is 470 mm in X and 2,040 mm in Z. Rapid feed is 5 m/min in X and 10 m/min in Z. The tailstock has a 180 mm quill with an MT No. 6 taper. The control is Okuma's OSP-P300L, with options such as variable spindle speed threading. Height is 2,843 mm (111.9 in), floor space 3,129 x 7,055 mm, and weight ranges from 20,700 to 25,500 kg depending on spindle version and turret configuration.
