The PAMA SPEEDRAM 1000/160 is a heavy-duty Horizontal Boring Mill designed for high-precision machining of large components, capable of handling a loading capacity of 160 tons. It features a large 160 mm (6.30 inch) spindle diameter and an impressive X-axis column travel of 4000 mm (157.48 inches). The machine utilizes a powerful spindle that reaches speeds up to 3500 RPM, with a Max Spindle Power (S1) of 37 kW, and Max Spindle Torque exceeding 1389 Nm. Key travels include 1000 mm for the Z-axis (ram) and 700 mm for the W-axis (boring spindle). Control is managed via CNC, facilitating advanced operations. Construction boasts double wall columns, a monolithic cast iron headstock, hydrostatic bronze pads, and an advanced hydrostatic sliding spindle (HSS) for maximum rigidity and precision. The system also includes Automatic Thermal Compensation (ATC) for ram and spindle elongation.
