PEM PEM 800 VERTICAL MACHINING CENTER

The PEM PEM 800 Vertical Machining Center is a high-precision electrochemical machining (PECM) system engineered for advanced serial production of complex metal components. Featuring a robust natural granite machine frame, it ensures exceptional stability and accuracy. The stationary machining table measures 17.7” x 17.7” (W x D) with a worktable height of 37.2” and is equipped with four T-slots (M12) for secure fixture clamping. The machine’s footprint is 213.9” x 85.04”, accommodating integration into demanding production environments. Vertical feed is delivered via an air bearing, maintenance-free precision direct drive axis, supporting oscillation ranges of 0.4mm or 0.2mm for fine control. Positioning accuracy is enhanced by high-resolution absolute linear digital glass scales. The system operates optimally at ambient temperatures between 60°F and 95°F, with highest precision achieved at 68°F and a maximum relative humidity of 75% at this temperature. The modular generator offers output from 1,200 to 9,600 A in 1,200 A increments, enabling flexible adaptation to various machining requirements. The machine weighs 4,629 lbs and supports optional A- and C-axis configurations for expanded machining capabilities. Control is managed through PEMControl, featuring an HMI with a PC keyboard and a 17” touchscreen for intuitive operation.
