The Pinnacle BX500 Vertical Machining Center is a high-precision, 5-axis CNC machine designed for complex and multi-sided part production. It features a standard table size of 19.69" x 19.69" with an optional extended table of 57" x 24", supporting a maximum workpiece weight of 1,100 lbs. The machine is equipped with a standard rotary table for full 5-axis simultaneous machining, enabling versatile setup and high accuracy. The vertical spindle delivers up to 15,000 RPM with a 30-minute power rating of 24 HP and utilizes a #40 taper for robust tool holding. Tooling is managed by a 30-pocket automatic tool changer (expandable to 60), ensuring efficient tool management and reduced cycle times. The machine offers five axes of motion, including a B-axis with a 240° range, and achieves rapid traverse rates of 1,414 ipm on X, Y, and Z axes, with a maximum feed rate of 394 ipm. The X, Y, and Z travels are 51.18", 24.02", and 31.89" respectively, providing a generous working envelope.
