The machine features a primary spindle capable of turning workpieces up to 5.000" in diameter with a maximum turning length of 7.500", utilizing a 4.000" chuck with a 5.000" maximum swing. Operating at 10,000 RPM with 1.00 HP output, the spindle delivers consistent cutting performance for both ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The machine provides two-axis capability (X and Z axes), each with 8.000" of travel, accommodating rapid traverse and cutting feed rates of 40 ipm. The slide-type primary tool carrier supports one simultaneous cutting tool, enabling efficient single-point turning operations. With dual spindle capability (both rated at 10,000 RPM and 1.00 HP), the machine allows for flexible production configurations, though only one spindle operates simultaneously during standard machining.
