A+Technical Description
The QuickTech T8 Hybrid is a sophisticated 9-axis twin-spindle mill/turn center engineered for high-production complex part machining. The machine features a robust main spindle with 4,000 RPM and 15 HP capacity, delivering 19.7-inch swing over bed and 13.8-inch maximum turning length, accommodating bar stock up to 1.25 inches in diameter. A secondary 15 HP spindle operating at 4,000 RPM provides synchronized turning operations, while the 7.5 HP sub-spindle at 4,000 RPM enables efficient part transfer and secondary operations. The machine incorporates dual live milling spindles rated at 2 HP each, allowing complete part machining including complex milling functions without part repositioning. The gang tool carrier accommodates five turning tools, while a servo-controlled Y-axis turret manages nine tools, providing exceptional tool flexibility and reducing changeover time. Cast from premium Meehanite iron, the machine weighs 13,420 pounds and features a 75-degree slant bed design for superior rigidity and heavy-duty cutting capability. The precision ground linear guideways employ 35mm Hiwin roller-type rails with 32mm pre-tensioned ballscrews, achieving positioning accuracy of ±0.0002 inches and repeatability of ±0.00015 inches. The integrated B-axis provides 360-degree rotational capability for multi-directional milling operations. Standard features include automatic collet chuck, parts catcher, chip conveyor, 65-gallon coolant tank with dual-pressure pump capability (400 PSI), and bar feeder interface, making it ideal for automated production environments requiring versatile multi-axis capabilities.
