The machine is equipped with a 24-tool automatic tool changer (ATC) enabling rapid tool changes in 1.9 seconds, optimizing machining efficiency. The travel ranges for the X, Y, and Z axes are approximately 39.4", 23.6", and 23.6" respectively, with rapid traverse rates of up to 1,417 inches per minute on all axes, facilitating fast positioning and cycle times. Pre-wired for a fourth axis, it offers potential for enhanced machining flexibility. The machine’s heavy-duty construction ensures rigidity and stability for demanding milling operations. Additional features include linear ways on the X and Y axes, box ways on the Z axis, an oiled cooled chiller, and remote manual pulse generator (MPG) for precise manual control.
