THE 2018 SHARP VH-25 IS A HEAVY DUTY VERTICAL/HORIZONTAL COMBO MILLING MACHINE WITH A 10 BY 56 INCH TABLE. BOTH THE VERTICAL AND HORIZONTAL SPINDLES UTILIZE AN NMTB-40 TAPER AND ARE POWERED BY INDIVIDUAL 5 HP MOTORS. THE VERTICAL SPINDLE FEATURES MECHANICAL VARIABLE SPEEDS RANGING FROM 60 TO 4,500 RPM, A 3-1/2 INCH QUILL DIAMETER, AND 5 INCHES OF TRAVEL WITH DOWN FEED RATES OF .0016, .003, AND .006 IPR. THE VERTICAL HEAD CAN TILT 90 DEGREES RIGHT OR LEFT AND 45 DEGREES FRONT OR BACK. THE HORIZONTAL SPINDLE OFFERS 6 SPEEDS RANGING FROM 80 TO 1,350 RPM. MAXIMUM TABLE TRAVEL IS 36 INCHES LONGITUDINALLY, 16-1/2 INCHES CROSS, AND 17-1/2 INCHES VERTICALLY. THE TABLE PROVIDES 12 LONGITUDINAL FEED RATES FROM 7/8 TO 27 IPM, WITH A RAPID TRAVERSE OF 82-1/2 IPM FOR THE TABLE AND 31-1/2 IPM FOR THE KNEE. CONSTRUCTED WITH MEEHANITE CASTING, A HEAVY DUTY BOX-TYPE COLUMN, AND TURCITE SADDLE WAYS, THE MACHINE WEIGHS 4,200 POUNDS. IT OPERATES ON 220V/3 PHASE/60 HZ AND REQUIRES A FLOOR SPACE OF 81.96 X 75 X 93 INCHES.
