A+Technical Description
This CNC vertical machining center features a 35.5" x 28.5" rigid worktable capable of supporting workpieces up to 2,200 lbs, with an optional table size of 31.5" x 25" for varied applications. It employs a vertical spindle with a #50 taper, rated at 20 HP continuous power and a top speed of 6,000 RPM, upgradeable to 12,000 RPM for high-speed machining needs. The automatic tool changer (ATC) supports 50 tools as standard, expandable to 130 tools, enabling extended unattended operation. Tool change chip time is effectively zero seconds, optimizing productivity. Optional dual-pallet changer improves workflow efficiency by allowing simultaneous loading and machining, with two pallets available. The machine utilizes a 3-axis linear movement system (X, Y, Z) with travels of 28", 20", and 25" respectively, all capable of rapid traverse rates up to 400 inches per minute, ensuring swift repositioning and reduced cycle times. The design supports an optional 4th axis for increased flexibility; however, the standard configuration excludes a U axis. Rotational axes include an A axis with 105° rotation and a full 360° B axis rotation, enabling complex part machining. This configuration combines high rigidity, substantial workpiece capacity, expansive tooling capacity, and flexible 3 to 4-axis machining, suitable for demanding production environments requiring heavy workpiece handling and versatile tooling options.
