The SNK NISSIN BHP130-3.5 is a Horizontal Table Type Boring Mill equipped with a Fanuc 31i-B5 CNC control system and 5 controlled axes (X, Y, Z, W & B). It features a robust heavy-duty cast iron construction for enhanced rigidity and accuracy. The machine is powered by a 60 HP motor, driving a 5.1-inch (130mm) diameter spindle with a CAT #50 taper and a speed range of 5 to 3,500 RPM, delivering a maximum torque of approximately 3,182 lbsf·ft. The travel ranges include an X-Axis travel of 137.8 inches (3,500 mm), a Y-Axis travel of 98.43 inches (2,500 mm), and a Z-Axis travel of approximately 63 inches. The W-axis travel is about 27.5 inches and includes thermal growth compensation with five temperature sensors for micron-level accuracy. The fully supported B-axis features scale feedback for indexing down to 0.001 degree. The table measures approximately 98.4 inches by 70.9 inches and can support a maximum workpiece weight of up to 44,100 lbs (20,000 kg). Tooling is handled by an Automatic Tool Changer (ATC) with a 60-tool capacity (optional 120 tools). Rapid traverse rates for X, Y, Z, and W axes are approximately 314, 394, 394, and 236 IPM, respectively.
