The SNK RB-250F is a large-format 5-axis simultaneous vertical machining center engineered for complex multi-angle machining and contouring operations. This gantry-style machine features a massive spindle head and ram mounted on a highly rigid, heat-treated steel welded frame structure, enabling precision high-speed machining of large workpieces. The work table accommodates parts up to 33,000 lbs, with generous dimensions of 196" × 98", facilitating the machining of large or long components including complex molds, dies, aircraft parts, and engine blocks. The machine is equipped with an ISO #50 spindle operating at a standard 6,000 RPM with 40 HP, with optional configurations reaching 10,000 RPM. X, Y, and Z axes provide travels of 206", 114", and 24" respectively (Z-axis extension to 39" optional), with rapid traverse rates of 800 ipm across all linear axes and B-axis rotation of ±190 degrees enabling true 5-axis simultaneous contouring. The 60-station automatic tool changer (expandable to 100 positions) minimizes tool change times and maximizes productivity. The dual-column bridge construction distributes cutting loads across the machine structure, maintaining exceptional rigidity and thermal stability during demanding applications.
