This vertical machining center features a robust table measuring 236" x 118" designed to support up to 66,000 lbs, enabling the machining of very large and heavy workpieces. It operates with a vertical spindle using a #50 taper capable of speeds up to 6,000 RPM standard, with an optional upgrade to 10,000 RPM. The spindle is rated at 40 HP (30 min rating) with a 30 HP optional motor, delivering high power for heavy-duty cutting operations. Tooling is handled via an automatic tool changer (ATC) supporting 60 tools as standard, expandable to 100, with an optional pallet changer for enhanced workflow efficiency. The machine operates on a six-axis configuration, facilitating complex multi-axis machining tasks, with no U axis present. The primary linear axes provide expansive travels: X axis at 246", Y axis at 150", and Z axis at 24" standard with an option for 39". The rotary B axis offers 190° movement for versatile part orientation. Maximum feed rates for all linear axes are 240 inches per minute, while rapid traverse rates reach up to 600 inches per minute, ensuring fast, precise positioning and reduced cycle times.
