The Sodick AP250L is a high-precision CNC wire EDM machine equipped with the LN1W control system and advanced linear motor drive technology on the X, Y, U, and V axes, ensuring backlash-free, highly accurate positioning and consistent machining quality. The machine features an X/Y/Z travel of 250 x 150 x 120 mm (9.84" x 5.91" x 4.72") and U/V axis travel of 35 x 35 mm, supporting complex taper cuts up to ±7°. This design enables machining of workpieces up to 400 x 270 x 100 mm with a maximum load of 80 kg. The AP250L incorporates auto wire threading, ultra-fine wire diameters from 0.03 to 0.20 mm, and wire tension control between 3 to 18 N, which facilitate stable and precise cutting. Its Eco-Cut O oil dielectric model supports carbide machining without cobalt depletion and ensures a minimal discharge gap for high-speed, high-precision applications. The machine's robust gantry structure and thermally stable construction minimize deformation, maintaining long-term machining accuracy supported by a 10-year positioning accuracy warranty. Additional features include a 15" TFT screen, USB and LAN interfaces, dielectric cooling unit, automatic tank doors, and an energy-saving circuit.
