The STAR SR-32 Horizontal Machining Center is a high-precision, multi-axis CNC machine designed for complex turning and milling operations. Featuring a main spindle with a maximum turning diameter and swing of 1.250", a turning length of 12.200", and a bar diameter capacity of 1.250", it delivers robust performance for small to medium-sized workpieces. The main spindle operates at up to 7,000 RPM with 10 HP, while the sub-spindle reaches 7,000 RPM with 5 HP, both offering precise indexing increments for accurate positioning. The machine is equipped with two slide-type tool carriers, supporting up to 6 turning and 6 rotary tools on the primary carrier, and 4 turning and 4 rotary tools on the secondary carrier. Rotary tools provide up to 1 HP and 5,000 RPM for live tooling applications. With the ability to use up to 3 simultaneous cutting tools, the SR-32 ensures efficient multitasking. The machine supports 5-axis control as standard, with options for 6-axis configurations, and offers X-axis travel of 1.250" and Z-axis travel of 12.200".
