The STAR SV-20 Horizontal Machining Center is a versatile Swiss-type CNC lathe engineered for high-precision small-diameter part machining. It features a main spindle with a maximum turning diameter and bar capacity of 0.790 inches and a turning length of 8.0 inches, capable of reaching 10,000 RPM at 7.4 HP. The sub spindle mirrors these capacities with 0.790-inch turning diameter, 10,000 RPM speed, and 7.4 HP power, enabling complex dual-spindle operations. Tooling is highly flexible, comprising a primary slide-type tool carrier with up to five turning tools and three rotary tools, plus a secondary turret tool carrier supporting three turning and three rotary tools each. Rotary tools achieve speeds of up to 6,000 RPM with power ratings between 0.7 and 1.0 HP. The machine supports up to two simultaneous cutting tools for enhanced productivity.
