The 1,000 x 1,000 mm square pallet system enables flexible workpiece positioning and automation integration. The 129-position automatic tool changer with HSK A63/80 taper provides rapid tool changes from chain or rack magazines, minimizing production interruptions. At the heart of the system lies the Sprint Z3 parallel kinematic machining head, which enables outstanding dynamics and precision through three parallel linear axis drives mounted radially in the barrel-shaped headstock. This innovative kinematic design allows synchronized motion across Z-axes for straight-line movement, differential motion for A/B-axis tilting, and complex 3D toolpath generation within a ±45-degree spherical cone.
