A+Technical Description
This vertical machining center features a large standard table size of 31.5" x 31.5", extendable optionally to 39.4" x 31.5", capable of supporting workpieces up to 4,410 lbs with standard support on the index table. It is equipped with a vertical spindle utilizing an HSK-A 63/80 taper, delivering a top speed of 30,000 RPM and a powerful 49.6 HP motor rated for 30 minutes. Tool handling is managed by a chain automatic tool changer (ATC) accommodating 60 tools standard, with an option to expand up to 240 tools. A standard pallet changer with two pallets enhances workflow efficiency. The machine operates across five axes—X, Y, Z linear travels of 57.09", 47.2", and 51.1" respectively, with A and B rotary axes providing 160° and full 360° rotation, respectively. Maximum feed rate and rapid traverse speed in the X, Y, and Z axes reach up to 2,362 inches per minute, supporting high-speed machining requirements. The system omits a U-axis and rotary table support but maintains excellent rigidity and precision through the supported axes. This configuration supports advanced multi-axis machining tasks, ideal for complex and heavy-duty metal cutting applications requiring precision, speed, and tool versatility.
