The SUGINO Self-Center V6 is a compact vertical machining center engineered for precision drilling, tapping, and milling operations on small to medium-sized workpieces. Featuring a #30 spindle taper, this machine delivers exceptional performance within a minimal footprint, making it ideal for job shops and production facilities with space constraints. The machine operates with a 6,000 RPM spindle driven by a 1.1kW motor in standard configuration, capable of handling aluminum drilling up to φ14mm, cast iron φ12.5mm, and steel φ10.5mm. Its travel envelope measures 300mm (X-axis), 250mm (Y-axis), and 250mm (Z-axis), with rapid feed rates reaching 30 m/min across all axes and a maximum cutting feed rate of 10 m/min. The machine incorporates a 6-position automatic tool changer (ATC) with 1.2-second tool-to-tool changeover, utilizing BT30 tool shanks with a maximum tool dimension of φ80×200mm and 3kg load capacity. Positioning accuracy achieves ±0.004mm over full travel with repeatability of ±0.001mm, ensuring consistent part quality.
