The Sugino V6 Vertical Machining Center is a compact and versatile CNC machining module designed for precision drilling, tapping, and milling operations. It features a vertical spindle with a 20-taper interface capable of reaching up to 12,000 RPM and powered by a 3.0 HP motor (30-minute rating), delivering efficient high-speed machining. The table measures 11.81 inches by 19.68 inches, supporting workpieces up to 1,100 lbs, with a standard support index table and an optional rotary table for enhanced workholding flexibility. The machine offers 3-axis travel with a maximum feed rate of 394 IPM and rapid traverse speeds reaching 1,179 IPM across X, Y, and Z axes, with travel distances of 11.81", 9.84", and 9.84" respectively. Tool handling is managed through an automatic tool changer (ATC) turret that accommodates 6 tools by default, with an 8-tool option available, enabling rapid tool change times of approximately 1.0 second and chip-to-chip time of 1.2 seconds. Pallet changers and multi-pallet setups are optionally available to increase productivity.
