This CNC lathe features a 42-inch swing capacity and a machining length of 200 inches, suitable for large workpieces and extended machining operations. It is equipped with the FAGOR 8055 TC CNC control system, known for its high precision and advanced capabilities in complex turning applications. The FAGOR 8055 TC supports up to 3 axes control and includes a fully alphanumeric keyboard, a 10.4" color VGA TFT LCD display, and communication ports including RS-232, RS-422, and USB for offline programming and easy program uploading. The control offers smooth and precise spindle management through spindle orientation (M19), multi-speed range gear control, and spindle synchronization features, which optimize spindle speed and torque based on machining requirements. It also provides advanced interpolation modes such as linear, circular, and helical, supporting a variety of machining cycles including thread repair, face threading, and canned cycles for turning, facing, taper turning, and drilling. The CNC contains integrated PLC functionality with 16 inputs and 8 outputs for machine automation, as well as interfaces for probes and electronic handwheels. Additional features include jerk control for smooth acceleration, automatic tool calibration, mid-program start, and override controls for feedrate and spindle speed. Its architecture supports modular expansion via CAN and SERCOS interfaces for remote I/O modules.
