Technical Description

This CNC lathe machine is engineered for precision multi-axis turning of bar stock with versatile cross-sections, supporting circular diameters from 1.81 to 2.04 inches and hexagonal sections from 1.49 to 1.65 inches, accommodating maximum stock lengths up to 157.48 inches. It includes six SP1–SP6 axes spindles with 13.38-inch pitch diameters, capable of speeds up to 6,000 rpm, delivering nominal power of 10.5 kW at 1,000 rpm and torque of 68 Nm. The longitudinal slide drives (W1–W5, Z6) at six stations provide high-speed linear movement (maximum 98.43 ft/min) with forces up to 3,400 N over 9.84-inch strokes, driven by ball screws with 0.039-inch lead. Compound slides (X1–X5, Z1–Z5 axes) enable five-tool stations to operate with precise longitudinal strokes of 4.72 inches and cross strokes of up to 3.15 inches, exuding forces up to 3,700 N and ball screw leads of 0.19 inch for fine tool positioning. Counter-spindles (S01–S06) match main spindles in speed and feature torque suitable for high-speed drilling (9 Nm) and thread cutting (20 Nm). The longitudinal necking down drives, five in number, provide up to 2,200 N force and 9.84-inch stroke at 98.43 ft/min. An integrated parts catcher manipulator offers precise handling with 138° arm rotation, longitudinal feed of 8.85 inches, and supports components up to 1.1 lbs.
