The TAKAMAZ HI-TURN Horizontal Machining Center is a precision CNC turning solution engineered for high-speed, reliable production. It features a single main spindle with a maximum turning diameter of 6.700" and a turning length of 6.000", supporting a maximum bar diameter of 1.000". The main spindle delivers up to 6,000 RPM and 5.0 HP, ensuring efficient material removal and fine surface finishes. The machine’s robust construction allows for a maximum swing of 11.800", accommodating a wide range of workpiece sizes. The primary tool carrier is a slide-type turret, supporting up to 7 turning tools, with the capability for one simultaneous cutting tool operation. Designed for simplicity and accuracy, the HI-TURN operates on a 2-axis configuration (X and Z), with each axis offering 9.840" of travel and rapid traverse rates of 393 ipm, enabling fast positioning and reduced cycle times. The X-axis also provides a maximum feed rate of 393 ipm for smooth, precise cutting.
