A+Technical Description
The Takisawa TCC-1000 Horizontal Machining Center is a high-speed, high-accuracy CNC lathe designed for compact efficiency and precision small-part machining. Featuring a single main spindle, it delivers a maximum turning diameter of 8.660" (220 mm) and a maximum turning length of 6.730" (171 mm), with a 6" (152.4 mm) chuck diameter and a maximum bar capacity of 1.650" (42 mm). The main spindle achieves speeds up to 4,000 RPM standard, with an optional upgrade to 5,000 RPM, and is powered by a 10 HP (7.5 kW) motor for robust performance. The machine is equipped with a standard 8-station turret, expandable to a 12-station turret, supporting up to 8 or 12 turning and rotary tools respectively, with one tool capable of simultaneous cutting. With two axes of motion, the X-axis offers 5.120" (130 mm) of travel and the Z-axis provides 7.870" (200 mm) of travel, both axes delivering rapid traverse and maximum feed rates of 787 ipm (20 m/min). The compact footprint and minimized width make it ideal for high-productivity environments with limited installation space. This machining center is well-suited for precision shafts, flanges, and other small components, combining speed, accuracy, and versatility for demanding CNC turning applications.
