A+Technical Description
The Takisawa TT-350G is a parallel twin-spindle CNC lathe engineered for high-volume production of medium to large-sized workpieces in automotive and construction machinery industries. Featuring dual independently-controlled spindles with 460mm maximum turning diameter and 325mm maximum turning length, the machine accommodates 12-inch chucks for heavy-duty cutting applications. Each spindle delivers 18.5/15 kW continuous/30-minute power (with optional 22/18.5 kW ratings) at 3,000 RPM, with selectable speeds of 2,000 and 4,000 RPM for optimized material removal rates. The machine incorporates dual 12-station turrets capable of simultaneous turning and milling operations through the CM specification, enabling integrated machining processes on both workpiece faces. Rapid traverse rates of 24 m/min on both X and Z axes ensure minimal non-cutting time during tool changes and repositioning. The machine's overhang-less slideway bed structure and low center-of-gravity design provide exceptional rigidity for sustained heavy cutting and intermittent operations. An integrated gantry loader system facilitates automatic workpiece transfer between spindles, enabling simultaneous front-and-back machining and symmetric part production without manual intervention. This configuration doubles production capacity compared to single-spindle machines while reducing floor space requirements. Ideal for symmetrical components requiring multi-operation machining, the TT-350G delivers superior productivity through parallel spindle machining, automated material handling, and flexible turret configurations supporting 14 pallets with 70kg individual loading capacity.
