A+Technical Description
The TORNOS DECO 13A is a Swiss-type CNC horizontal machining center designed for precision turning and milling operations, ideal for manufacturing complex small parts. It features dual main spindles with a maximum turning diameter of 0.630" and turning length of 7.090", accommodating bar diameters up to 0.510". Both main spindles operate at up to 10,000 RPM with 5.00 HP each, while the sub spindle runs at 10,000 RPM with 3.00 HP, also capable of 0.630" diameter and 7.090" length. The machine supports simultaneous use of up to three cutting tools across two primary SLIDE-type tool carriers, with 10 turning tools and 6 rotary tools on the main carrier, and 6 turning and 6 rotary on the secondary carrier. Rotary tools have 1.50 HP power and max 8,000 RPM speed. It includes standard secondary milling/drilling functionality on-center and operates with 6 axes (expandable to 7). Axis travels include 0.510" in X and 6.300" in Z. The DECO 13A is built for highly modular, multi-axis Swiss machining with excellent chip evacuation, making it suitable for high-precision complex parts in medical, aerospace, and electronics industries. Its compact design and robust spindle power ensure optimal productivity and versatility in precision CNC turning and milling tasks.
