The TORNOS EvoDECO 20 is a high-performance horizontal machining center designed for precision Swiss-type turning and milling operations. It features a main spindle with a maximum turning diameter and bar capacity of 1.000" (25.4 mm) and a maximum turning length of 7.870" (200 mm), supporting demanding production requirements. The machine is equipped with two main spindles, each capable of 10,000 RPM and 17 HP, enabling rapid and powerful machining. Dual tool carriers—Platen 1 and Platen 2—allow for up to 10 turning tools and 6 rotary tools on the primary carrier, and 6 turning tools and 3 rotary tools on the secondary carrier, with each rotary tool delivering up to 3 HP and 8,000 RPM. The EvoDECO 20 supports up to 4 simultaneous cutting tools, maximizing productivity and efficiency. With 10 standard linear axes and the option for up to 12 axes, the machine provides exceptional flexibility for complex workpiece geometries.
