TORNOS ST 26 HORIZONTAL MACHINING CENTER

The TornOS ST 26 is a high-performance horizontal CNC Swiss-type machining center engineered for precision and productivity in tight-tolerance part manufacturing. It features a main spindle with a maximum turning diameter and bar capacity of 1.000", supporting a maximum turning length of 8.660". The machine is equipped with dual main spindles, each capable of 10,000 RPM and 15 HP, enabling high-speed, simultaneous operations for increased throughput. Two independent tool platens provide a total of 36 tool positions, with up to 16 rotary tools (8 per platen) capable of 6,000 RPM and 1 HP each, allowing for advanced milling and drilling operations. The ST 26 supports up to two tools cutting simultaneously, optimizing cycle times and machining efficiency. With a total of nine axes (X1, Z1, Y1, X2, Y2, C1, X4, Z4, C4), the machine delivers exceptional flexibility for complex geometries and multi-axis machining. The robust design includes a large work zone for easy tool access, efficient chip evacuation, and compatibility with a wide range of attachments and accessories.
