Technical Description

The TSUGAMI/REM SALES BS32 is a high-precision horizontal machining center designed for complex turning and milling operations with a maximum main spindle turning diameter of 1.250" and length of 9.840". It supports bar diameters up to 1.000" and features a sub spindle with a turning diameter max of 1.250" and length max of 8.260". The machine has a single main spindle delivering up to 7,000 RPM and 7.30 HP, matched by a sub spindle motor of 3.00 HP at 6,000 RPM. Equipped with two slide-type tool carriers, the BS32 accommodates up to 11 main turning tools and 4 rotary tools on the primary carrier, and up to 5 turning and 2 rotary tools on the secondary carrier, each rotary tool rated at 0.66 HP and 5,000 RPM. This setup allows simultaneous use of up to three cutting tools, enhancing productivity. The machine offers comprehensive secondary milling/drilling functions including on-center, off-center, with 'C' axis, and 'Y' axis capabilities, supporting a total of seven axes for multi-dimensional machining.
