The Tsugami/Rem Sales PO3 is a compact horizontal machining center designed for precision small-part manufacturing. This 4-axis machine features dual spindles with impressive capabilities: the main spindle operates at 20,000 RPM (optionally 25,000 RPM) with 1.5 HP, while the sub spindle matches these specifications, enabling simultaneous two-tool cutting operations. Both spindles accommodate work up to 0.120" diameter and 1.570" length, with maximum bar stock of 0.120". The machine utilizes two independent tool carriers: the primary tool slide supports up to 5 turning tools and 2 rotary tools operating at 50,000 RPM, while the secondary tool slide accommodates 6 turning tools and 2 rotary tools at 8,000 RPM. This dual-carrier configuration delivers exceptional flexibility for complex machining sequences. The PO3 offers comprehensive milling and drilling capabilities both on-center and off-center, with full Y-axis and C-axis functionality included as standard features.
