UNISIG USC-3M HORIZONTAL MACHINING CENTER

The UNISIG USC-3M Horizontal Machining Center is a robust 5-axis CNC system designed for heavy-duty milling and deep-hole drilling applications, notably for large, complex workpieces. It features a substantial table size of 78.7" x 63.0" capable of supporting workpieces up to 66,615 lbs. The machine operates with a single horizontal spindle, available in CAT 50 or optional SK50 taper, delivering up to 4,500 RPM and a 30-minute power rating of 32 hp, with an optional upgrade to 40 hp for increased torque and material removal rates. The spindle supports both gundrilling and milling operations, minimizing tool changeover times. Axis travels are expansive, with X-axis at 122", Y-axis at 68.9", and Z-axis at 51.2", complemented by rotary axes A (±45°) and B (360° continuous) for versatile 5-axis positioning, enabling the machining of complex geometries in a single setup. It supports a 60-tool automatic tool changer option to further enhance production efficiency, though pallet changers are not available. A standard rotary table is provided, without indexing support. This machining center integrates advanced CNC controls (typically Heidenhain TNC 640) with user-friendly interfaces for intuitive operation and includes features such as programmable coolant systems.
