The UNIVERSAL CTWG320TB is a precision CNC wire electrical discharge machine (EDM) designed for high-accuracy cutting of complex geometries in hardened materials. This wire-cutting machine features an independently developed CNC system with WinXP operating platform, paired with imported AC servo drive technology for superior motion control and positioning accuracy. The machine is equipped with standard THK high-precision linear guides and ball screws to ensure consistent performance and minimal deviation during extended production runs. With a work table measuring 630mm x 440mm and travel distances of 400mm on the X-axis and 320mm on the Y-axis, this machine accommodates medium-to-large workpieces while maintaining tight tolerances. The system delivers machining precision of ±0.008mm with surface finishes reaching Ra≤0.8-1.0μm, making it ideal for precision mold manufacturing and complex part production. Processing capabilities include single-pass efficiency of 90-100mm²/min with maximum efficiency reaching 180mm²/min, supporting both straight cutting and conical taper cuts up to 30 degrees in the TB configuration. The machine operates on AC 380/220V three-phase power with a 4.5kW main power supply and draws maximum cutting current of 8A. Weighing 1800kg, the CTWG320TB incorporates a two-way reciprocating constant-strength tensioning mechanism and four-bar linkage system for precise taper geometry control. Wire speed is infinitely adjustable from 1.7-11.8, allowing optimization for various material thicknesses and cutting requirements.
