The Yama Seiki AWEA AH-500 Horizontal Machining Center features a robust 19.68" x 19.68" table capable of supporting workpieces up to 1,320 lbs. It is equipped with a horizontal spindle configured with a BBT50 taper, delivering up to 10,000 RPM (optionally 6,000 RPM) and 35 HP with a 30-minute rating, suitable for high-performance machining. The spindle's direct drive supports precision and stability during heavy-duty cutting. The machine offers 4 axes of movement (X, Y, Z, and B), with travels of 27.55", 25.59", and 25.59" for the linear axes respectively, alongside a 360° B-axis rotational capability, enabling complex 5-face machining operations. The tool handling system includes a 60-tool Automatic Tool Changer (ATC) with an optional capacity expansion to 240 tools, enhancing productivity and flexibility. A standard rotary support table enhances workpiece positioning, while no support index table is included.
