A+Technical Description
The Yasda YBM 7Ti is a high-precision 5-axis horizontal machining center designed for heavy-duty and complex machining tasks. It features a 19.7" x 19.7" (500 x 500 mm) table capable of supporting up to 1,102 lbs (500 kg) workpieces. The machine offers extensive travels of 49.2" (X), 39.4" (Y), and 43.3" (Z) with rapid traverse rates up to 1,886 ipm, enabling high-speed and high-accuracy machining. Its spindle uses a BT#50 taper with a standard speed of 10,000 rpm, with options up to 15,000 rpm, powered by a 30 kW (40 kW optional) motor that employs a preload self-adjusting system for consistent precision across the speed range. The YBM 7Ti utilizes an advanced table-on-table structure with direct-drive (DD) motors on the B and C rotary axes, allowing ±110° B-axis and full 360° C-axis rotation. This setup supports backlash-free, highly responsive 5-axis simultaneous machining with a maximum of 240 tools in the automatic tool changer (ATC), expandable to 450. It includes a two-pallet changer for efficient workpiece handling. The machine incorporates hybrid box guide ways with roller packs and a robust 25-ton H-shaped steel base to minimize vibrations and thermal displacement, ensuring stable long-duration high-speed cutting of difficult materials. Optical scale feedback on all axes delivers enhanced accuracy (2.3 to 3.0 microns ISO standard), making the Yasda YBM 7Ti ideal for aerospace, die, and mold applications demanding ultra-precision and reliability.
