A+Technical Description
The YCM NH 800B is a high-precision horizontal machining center featuring a robust one-piece T-base foundation with rib construction for exceptional rigidity and thermal stability. It has a large table size of 31.5" x 31.5" and supports a maximum workpiece weight of 4,400 lbs. The machine operates with a 4-axis configuration, including a standard high-precision B-axis rotary table with a disc brake and damped clamping system for stable and accurate indexing. Its horizontal spindle uses a BBT50 taper (optional CAT50) capable of 10,000 RPM with a 45 kW (60 hp) motor delivering 623 Nm torque, supported by a built-in motorized spindle with micro oil-air lubrication and circulated oil jacket cooling to minimize thermal deformation and extend spindle life. The NH 800B features dual drive technology on the Y-axis, reducing vibration and enhancing machining stability for high speed, quality cuts, and longer tool life. The machine has generous travels of 51.18" (X), 43.3" (Y), and 43.3" (Z) with rapid traverse rates up to 1,965 ipm. The automatic tool changer supports 40 tools standard, expandable to 120 tools, with a 2-second tool change time. An optional 2-pallet automatic pallet changer enhances production efficiency with 20-second pallet swaps. High rigidity roller guideways and pre-tensioned ball screws provide precise positioning and high feedrates. This combination makes the NH 800B ideal for heavy-duty, high accuracy, multi-face machining in production environments.
