Technical Description

The ZHONGYUAN DK-77100 Wire EDM Machine is a CNC-controlled precision cutting system featuring an X-axis travel of 39.37 inches (1000 mm) and a Y-axis travel of 51.18 inches (1300 mm) designed for high precision electrical discharge machining (EDM). The machine supports a worktable size around 1100 x 1500 mm with a maximum load capacity up to 1500 to 6000 kg depending on configuration. It operates with a wire diameter range typically between 0.10 mm and 0.22 mm, using molybdenum wires for fine and durable cutting performance. The DK-77100 is engineered for high-speed cutting with processing speeds ranging from ≥120 mm²/min up to around 300 mm²/min depending on current and surface finish requirements. It achieves excellent cutting accuracy with a tolerance of ≤0.015 mm and surface roughness Ra ≤ 2.5 μm in single cuts. The machine provides taper cutting capabilities up to ±6°, with optional configurations allowing greater taper angles. Mechanical components include a vertical electrical cabinet, ball screw and V-flat guide rails for precise XY axis motion, and stepper motors with frequency converter speed regulation for the wire conveying motor, capable of speeds from 1 to 12 m/s. The machine integrates industrial-grade CNC control featuring CAD drawing import, automatic wire tensioning, and multiple safety and operational features such as wire break detection and power interruption memory. Its working tank holds approximately 55-100 liters of water-based dielectric fluid with filtration to maintain cutting precision and surface finish.
