The ZPS-CNC H80 Horizontal Machining Center features a robust worktable measuring 31.4" by 39.3" capable of supporting workpieces up to 5,000 lbs, with standard support for both index and rotary tables. It incorporates a horizontal spindle with a 50 taper, optionally equipped with HSK 80 taper, delivering speeds up to 8,000 RPM standard and an optional 10,000 RPM for high-speed machining. The spindle is powered by a 33 HP motor rated for 30 minutes, ensuring substantial cutting power. The tooling system employs a double-arm random position tool carrier with a tool capacity of 56, expandable to 244 tools, and a rapid tool change time of 8 seconds, maximizing productivity. A standard pallet changer supports two pallets for efficient workpiece handling. The machine operates on three axes—with an optional fourth axis—with travel distances of 57" (X), 41" (Y), and 47" (Z). Each axis supports a maximum feed rate of 590 inches per minute and rapid traverse speeds up to 1,900 ipm, enabling rapid positioning and high machining throughput. This configuration balances high load capacity, precise speed control, and flexible tooling options, suitable for heavy-duty horizontal machining tasks requiring large travel and high efficiency.
