This vertical machining center features a robust table measuring 47.24 inches in length by 20.00 inches in width, capable of supporting workpieces up to 1,540 lbs. An optional index or rotary table is available for enhanced versatility. The vertical spindle utilizes a #40 taper, with a maximum speed of 10,000 RPM (optionally 8,000 RPM) and delivers 23 HP (30-minute rating) for high-performance cutting. Tooling is managed by an automatic tool changer (ATC) with a capacity of 20 tools and a rapid tool change time of 6 seconds. A pallet changer is optional, supporting up to 2 pallets for increased productivity. The machine operates on 3 standard axes (with a 4th axis option), providing X, Y, and Z travels of 40.000", 20.000", and 20.600" respectively. Maximum feed rates are 315 IPM across all axes, with rapid traverse speeds reaching 982 IPM for fast positioning.
