The Adept Cobra 800S is a high-performance four-axis SCARA robot designed for mechanical assembly, material handling, packaging, machine tending, and screw driving. It features an 800 mm reach, a 210 mm Z-axis stroke, and a payload capacity rated at 2 kg with a maximum of 5.5 kg. The system is powered by the Adept SmartController motion controller and utilizes the Adept SmartServo architecture with high-resolution absolute encoders and high-efficiency, low-inertia harmonic drives. Performance specifications include a repeatability of ± 0.017 mm in the XY plane and ± 0.003 mm in the Z-axis.
