The 2016 NACHI EZ03 is an inverted 4-axis SCARA robot, also referred to as a wing slicer type, designed for high-speed material handling, assembly, electronics, and palletizing applications. This model features a horizontal articulated structure with a maximum payload capacity of 3 kg and a rated payload of 2 kg. Depending on the specific configuration, the robot offers a maximum reach of 450 mm or 550 mm and a Z-axis stroke of either 150 mm or 250 mm. The system utilizes an AC servo drive system and achieves position repeatability of ± 0.014 mm. The inverted mounting configuration is designed to save floor space, reducing the equipment footprint by up to 40% compared to conventional floor-mounted SCARA robots.
