6in Kitagawa B-206 3 Jaw Lathe Power Chuck

The Kitagawa B-206 is a new 6-inch (169 mm) 3-jaw power chuck designed for high-performance machining applications. Featuring a 45 mm (1.772 inch) through-hole diameter, it operates at a maximum speed of 6,000 RPM. The unit delivers a maximum static gripping force of 57 kN (approximately 12,555 lbs / 5,812 kgf) and a maximum drawbar pull force of 22 kN (approximately 4,846 lbs / 2,243 kgf). Key operational specifications include a jaw stroke diameter of 5.5 mm (0.217 inches) and a plunger stroke of 12 mm (0.472 inches). The master jaws feature a 1.5 mm x 60° serration pitch. With soft top jaws attached, the assembly weighs 11.9 kg (26.2 lbs) and has a moment of inertia of 0.058 kg·m². The chuck is compatible with the S1246 matching cylinder, as well as HB06B1 hard top jaws and SB06L1A soft top jaws. This unit (serial number 3L9411M) comes equipped with mounting bolts and documentation stored inside the through-hole, though top jaws must be acquired separately.
