This 8-axis CNC lathe features a FANUC 31i-Model B controller, delivering high-precision multi-axis machining capabilities ideal for complex turning and live tooling operations. The machine accommodates a 6" chuck with a 12.2" swing and 10.24" turning diameter, supporting workpieces up to 10.63" center distance. Dual Z-axis travel of 13.39" and dual X-axis travel of 5.91" enable simultaneous multi-path machining, while the Y-axis provides 4.92" travel on both right and left sides for enhanced part geometry flexibility. The C-axis offers fine 0.001° indexing precision for accurate angular positioning. The control system supports rapid traverse rates of 995 ipm on the X-axis and 1,260 ipm on the Z-axis, minimizing cycle times for improved productivity.
